My husband says I “draw stuff on the computer” for a living, and I guess he’s right?

I’ve worked as a graphic designer for almost 20 years. I love the challenges of my career and working with different clients. I also love doing whatever I want with what I’ve picked up along the way.
 
My family and friends say I’m crazy for the amount of time and effort I put into things like redecorating, adding details to special occasions, and organizing. They might be right, but the truth is that these things actually make me feel sane. I can apply design principles from my day job (but also NOT!) whenever I get the itch to be creative with events, spaces, meals, or throwback projects to relive my art school days.
 
P, B, and Grey are the three little boys who call me “Mom.” It can be hard to balance their calls with all the other things I need and want to do, but I make it work just like everybody else. I get ideas and inspiration from others and hope to pay it forward while cataloging some of the stuff I’m proud of. Enter: blog.
